Children's Hospital of Los Angeles Gala 2018

“From Paris with Love”

Pacific Coast String’s Electric Septet (with harp!) opened the Gala with our Parisian style music and costuming as more than 1,400 prominent philanthropists, local dignitaries and supporters gathered at The Event Deck at L.A. LIVE for an event that raised $5.5 million to support the patient care and medical research that children who visit the hospital need.

The star-studded evening included performances from Foo Fighters and Pharrell Williams. Late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel, legendary Dodgers announcer Vin Scully and global play & entertainment company Hasbro were awarded the “Courage to Care Award” in recognition for their compassion and dedicated support of CHLA.

CHLA is a nonprofit pediatric health care organization dedicated to creating hope and building healthier futures for children. As a pediatric charity of choice, the hospital relies on the generosity of the community to support its groundbreaking pediatric research and the complex care it provides for critically ill and injured children.  To learn more about CHLA, please visit their website: CHLA.org.
